Tow Hooks / Extraction Points?

With winter just around the corner, the chances of sliding off the road increase. I am not seeing any obvious spots to attach a tow strap. I have heard there are steel loops meant for this purpose on the front, but nobody knows about the back unless a hitch is installed. Anyone know where the official extraction points actually are, assuming there are any?

On Honda/Acura SUVs, usually the central lift points have holes that will accept a narrow tow hook. I'd go look but it's freaking cold in my garage right now.

Those lift points are usually attached to the front and rear subframes. Any convenient site on the front and rear subframes will probably do. I doubt a tow truck driver would mess around with a screw-in eye, and they would laugh at the itty bitty hole in the lift point, so they would just loop a cable around something on the subframes.

But yes, a hitch provides a convenient extraction interface. Although I generally try to avoid invoking it. Winter tires help with that.

It was less freaking cold in my garage today. There are some nice stout steel loops on each side of the vehicle in front, just behind the bumper. And there is, in fact, a hole in the rear central lift point on the rear subframe, but it is not very appealing.

Nice stout front tow eye. One on each side.

Rear central lift point. Not so sure about this one.

I wouldn't be hooking up to that, even if it was rotated 90 degrees. Meanwhile I see a nice dual exhaust system with separate canisters.
