Hey everyone, hope all is well. I have a 2021 Acura RDX SH-AWD and i have noticed that my Acuralink light occasionally turns red, then green, then red, etc. I have done a bit of research and I am assuming the culprit is a wonky TCU and may need a reset. I have run diagnostics on the Acuralink system (press and held the Acuralink button) and it told me that there is a DTC with a code of B1412. I did some googling and couldn't figure out what this means. I tried disconnecting the battery to see if this would reset the system but the issue continues. I do have a diagnostics appointment with Acura next week but if it is an easy reset/fix i can do myself it will save me a lengthy trip. Thanks in advance!

 

OP, I know this is an old thread but looking for answers as well. I posted about a parasitic drain affecting my 2019 RDX and it appears that has something to do with the TCU. What got me to reach out is the "red and green" status light on the overhead where the map light and link button is located. What did the dealership end up doing or if you still have your vehicle? Thanks.
