A-Spec Tire Mileage

Hi all,

I picked-up a 2021 Aspec back in April, and I'm kind of curious how many miles you are all getting out of the Stock Goodyears? My Aspec is leased, so I would anticipate that I should be able to get about 40-45k out of them (hopefully). However, I am thinking that I will buy it outright at the end of the lease, as long as I don't have any major issues with it.

Thanks all!

Wish I could help. We took our Goodyears off after about a 1000 miles to put winter tires on, and since moving out of snow country, just left them on to wear out. I don't know that the Goodyears will ever go back on. After 3 years and 2 months we are only at 10,000 miles on the car. so the Goodyears will likely age-out before the winters ever get worn down. But your estimate of 40 to 45K is perfectly reasonable for an all-season tire, or more, if kept aligned, rotated and proper pressure.

I have 20k and same on my ASPEC as tire wear is about 50% and I drive fast and hard in the corners. I am very happy with these tires.

I am at 16k aspec, maybe will keep it until 30k… I dont like to push tire tread close to min legal, becomes a hazard for winter or wet conditions.
tires will last longer if you dont go fast while turning

19' Aspc w/ SHAWD with original Goodyears -- i'm at 40k miles and they easily have another 10k miles left -- no where near wear bars. They've done well in all conditions. Will be starting research on this forum next year for recommended replacements. Oh, and i'd say I drive on the aggressive side in relation to cornering...I don't baby it!

I agree! Just saying that aggressive turns shorten thread life…

Anyone found the replacement for OEM tires when its time to change?
I would be more inclined with the longer tread life vs performance…

I've always been happy with my Bridgestones. Until they let me down, they're my go-to brand and will likely replace the Goodyears. Ironically, I've never liked Goodyear on any of my cars, including the Eagle RS-A's that were standard on my Monte Carlo. I don't know if they changed up the compound, materials and/or construction, but I'm actually quite pleased with them on the RDX. If they happen to be on special around the time I replace them, depending on mileage I get out of the originals, I may just stick with them.

With different brands, I find that some brands have better tires for certain sizes than others. Thats why I dont have a favorite tire brand, and mostly look at tirerack for reviews and tread warranty specs within specific size.
I found that ones promising longer warranties indeed last longer, also lower speed rating seems to last longer too. Longer tread life does come with compromise in performance.
Also l look for country of origin…

I have just over 30K on my 2019 Advance. Got the 20" diamond cuts on and not thrilled with the OEM Goodyear RS-A overall.

Still have maybe 5-10K tread on them, but have Michelin CrossClimate SUVs on order.

Regards ------------

The Croos Climate 2's would likely be my choice if I were in the market for tires.
