Rear window trim difference on aspec
 

So I noticed the other day that the rear outside window trim molding on my aspec is textured while the texture on the
rest of the car is smooth does anyone else have this. To me it just looks off like it was a mistake, it’s on both the driver and passenger rear doors but the front is smooth.

Also a side not I put on the side molding today, took about an hour and a half, was pretty easy if you follow instructions, I think it looks pretty darn good, I live at an apartment so I’m hoping this saves me from door dings, already have a scratch on the side :(

Must be a problem on the window trim....mine is smooth all the way around. Like the side molding. I did my own on my Land Rover and it kinda looks like...I did it. Don't know that i want to tackle another but want to get it.

It's vinyl trim . Looks like a manufacturer's defect. Take it in!

Just checked mine and all 4 doors have an equal bit of texture while the rear window trim is smooth. Not really enough difference to notice unless you were to be looking for it but it is there.
