The service alert A16 showed up on my RDX Advance 2020 at 10K miles mark. I looked up, the code means oil change, tire rotate, and rear differential fluid change. I took it to my local Honda dealer, no Acura within 150 mile radius. The Honda tech said rear differential fluid doesn't need change until 15k. Is he correct? Thanks!

 

I go with the MM when it comes to these things. 10K does seem soon, though. Maybe there were driving conditions that called for it.

 

Was your oil life 0%? Sometimes MID shows next service that is due. Second, your Honda dealer is unlikely to carry Acura fluid DPSF for rear differential. For Honda models they use Dual Pump II Differential Fluid, which is different from DPSF.
I would either inquire them to make sure they can get Acura DPSF fluid, or you can purchase your own online and bring it to them,
