Real time traffic inconsistent

Since I purchased my 2019 Advance, I've experienced issues with the real time traffic on the Nav. The color coded line (Green, Yellow, Red) turns on and off. More over, sometimes only one side of the freeway has the "green" shading. The opposite side of the freeway is blank. I've also watched the colors turn off and on. We're still on our XM/Sirius honeymoon. Of all the Nav units I've owned I have never experience such inconsistent real time traffic performance. Anyone else experience this?

SiriusXM does not provide any Traffic, Weather, Sports, Stocks, or Fuel Prices to the RDX. It does thru it’s Travel Link Services, but Acura does not subscribe due to financial considerations on the RDX.

Your’re probably getting your Traffic info thru HD Radio, which can be spotty.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if I can I subscribe to real time traffic via XM/Sirius without a conflict?

Thanks

No, you can not. It’s a bummer considering my wife’s 2012 Toyota can and does have Travel Link, albeit at a price of around $5/mo in addition to All Access.
