RDX prone to creaking?
Are the current gen RDX's prone to creaking? Seems like I read that somewhere a few weeks back. We bought a '21 PMC edition. It has started making some odd noises in the back. It could be a strut issue or something else with the rear suspension.
Creaking noise or popping noise? I ask because I'm relatively new to 3rd gen ownership (recently moved up from a 2010 1st gen that I had for over a decade), and I've noticed an occasional pop coming from the rear headliner area when I exit my driveway or drive over any similar type bump that causes the chassis to flex. This is for a 2022 A-Spec with just over 20k miles.
In searching, there are multiple threads on here about TSB 23-0004, which calls for potential replacement of the sunroof frame. If you just punch 'acura TSB 23-004' you'll get a link to the NHTSA page for it. I would suggest reading up on it to see if that may be your issue, and if so hopefully you still have some warranty coverage left to address it. Since it's only a TSB and not a full recall, I do not believe they'll be replacing these free of charge unless you're still on your bumper-to-bumper.

It is the flexing of the structure with the pano-roof. A little popping is normal, if your pano-roof seals correctly and doesn't leak - IMO, just leave well enough alone.

Took it back in this past Friday. The service manager was not pleased our issues weren't fixed. They determined a front sway bar is causing the noise and some piece on the sunroof was causing some popping noise. My wife is supposed to pick it up this afternoon. I told her to take it back if it's still making those noises. Will post an update later.
Mine started making more noise when it seemed like fall was almost here. Now it has been 105-110 for the last two weeks and no more noise!
I assume it'll be pretty consistent when we actually get to whatever "winter" will be for us this year, and then I'll take it in.

I get a creaking noise from the dash..drivers side..if I push on the dash it goes away...Mostly happens in cooler temps. I think all cars creak somewhat...
Since it's Halloween season..maybe the ghosts are showing up in our vehicles

I hope this is the last update. The replaced both front struts and both strut mounts. This appears to have fixed the issue. I said that the last time though. But it feels better driving it. It feels more like the RDX loaner they gave us the first time we took it in.
Bumping this, as I took mine in today to address the pop noise and they're replacing the whole panoramic roof frame as per this TSB:

If you are getting the occasional loud pop when your car frame twists a bit (say, on a driveway incline or going over a larger speed bump at an angle), it would be worth looking into. What did it for me was the fact my roof would not close a few days ago. It would try to, and then back out halfway. After driving for a bit it did end up staying closed, but it's clear the frame movement is enough that it can cause the glass to be misaligned within the frame.
Example of said pop:

I have had my '19 for six years now. It will, on very rare occasions, give a little pop from the roof when I go over the bump from the driveway to the street. I gave it a quick little lube with the Honda silicone rubber treatment they recommend for door seas and such. That stopped it for a year or two. Its not a big deal to me as its so rare and I know what causes it. Everything functions 100% so I just don't worry about it. If the car was new and it concerned me I would head right back to the dealer and want it fixed. As is, not really concerned as I know what is is and it doesn't cause any performance issues.

The popping that is associated with the TSB is not because the frame is flexing, but because the frame is shifting around because the mounting clamps are not holding it in place. This can allow it to fall out of alignment, which can impact the function of the roof. Mine got to a point where the roof would not close. So, if you are getting a popping noise while going over a bump or steep incline at an angle (see my short video above), and are still under warranty - highly suggest getting it checked out.
