RDX Advanced lease

My 2017 RDX Advanced lease will be coming to an end in a few months. I have a 36 month lease with 12K miles per year and paid first month deposit and basic DMV, bank and inception fees. My monthly payment is $500.
Today I checked out a 2019 Advanced and it certainly improved in many areas. Braking was surprisingly noticeable worse that my car though.
Without getting into any serious negotiation, the sales person told me that the monthly payment under the same conditions as my current car would be around $600 a month. I did not get into specifics of money factors, residual, etc but was surprised with such high number.
What are you folks paying for similar leases?
TIA

2019 with Tech, 36 months 12k year, only put $1600 down paying the same, $600 a month, my credit score may not been as high as yours or the cash down.

Those are terrible lease rates. Should be close to 1% of msrp with just the first month down.

Yikes! I have 2019 RDX w/tech. Monthly payment is $404 before state sales tax. I paid $3299 down payment and taxes and fees up front. Also paying a little less for only 7500 miles per year as I was able to roll over unused mileage from 2016 rdx lease. Plus $1000 loyalty credit. I feel I got a fair deal, not great. You need to check money factor, residual value and if loyalty credit is available.

In August, I was able to get a '19 A-Spec for $492, including taxes for only drive-off (approx. $1700). I'm pretty sure the Loyalty and the 7500 miles/yr (using the rollover from my old lease to get to 10k/yr) helped bring the price down.

The advance will be a little more expensive, approx $40-50 more per month I think, so anything in the mid 500s with nothing down might be a pretty decent deal.

I asked about a lease for my AWD Tech when I purchased in late August (ended up buying instead). Was quoted $525 with $2,000 cash out of pocket plus about $2,000 in equity from my 2017 RDX trade and $1,000 loyalty, so technically $5,000 down. 15k miles per year and included taxes of about $1,200. I’m in upstate NY.

Southern California here.
FWD Tech. 3500 down, including all fees and taxes. Had the $1,000 loyalty credit as well (so I guess technically $4500) $410/month. 10k miles/year.

The lease money factor is horrible for the RDX. When I was pricing out an A-Spec a little over a week ago it was actually cheaper to lease an MDX.

Edmunds has car specific forums to ask lease/purchase questions and was very helpful. The base money factor for the RDX was around .00131.

The resale in 3 years is also a bit of an unknown since this is a redesign. I don’t recall exactly what the residual was but it seemed high.

Looks like the base money factor is now .00109 and 58% residual.

Ross7777,
My MF rate is .00036 which is actually .864% (notice the 3 zeros, more zeros = lower APR) Remember I am doing a ONE PAY lease which greatly affects the MF.
My R is $25662 or 59% of $40,699. I actually leased two RDX's (both single pay) one for wife and one for daughter. That helped with the deal.
Love the SH-AWD of wet roads.

Yes. The one pay lease is different. The traditional lease for an RDX doesn’t make sense at this point.

I had no idea that the "one pay lease" was an option. That's a significant savings in interest costs.

$500 month 36/15k miles base with AWD only first month down, didn't even pay tags. I know it's just an ok deal, but I had a lease broker who couldn't get me a better deal and I also shopped around 4 different dealers. It's a hot car and seems difficult to really get deals on.

I don't currently have that rate. But, that is what you should shoot for with a sign n drive lease according to the Lease Hacker Forum. After watching the Edmunds forum, the RDX is not leasing well at all right now.

Nope. I am surprised that the Acura dealer did not follow up at all.
In the mean time I researched the XC60 and like it a lot.

Got them down to $38,900 for base SH-AWD (listed as $40,5xx+)
Traded in an MDX for around $5k down.
$428 / month lease for 36 months, 10k miles / year.
$24,500 purchase price at lease end, which I’m pretty sure will be a good deal, especially at my current rate of driving which will be about 23k miles by lease end.

Great deal. I was offer about $489 including tax in Socal for a 2019 Base AWD. They wanted $1100 cash down. 36months/12k miles per year. This was several days ago. I said no. Ended up buying from another dealer.
