RDX 2020 trans fluid and filter ?
Hello,
My understanding is first trans fluid change should occur at around 30K miles next at around 60K and so on. Draining and filling fluid pretty straightforward. Oil type ATF 2.0.
I would like to find out if you suggest changing transmission filter (part Acura 25450-P4V-013) as well at every transmission fluid change.
Thank you

who told you at 30k? Its more likely closer to 60k AFAIK.
good idea to change a filter, if you know how to do it…

Back when Acura had printed intervals (circa 2005), transmission fluid service was at 45k miles, then every 30k miles after that.
The maintenance plan that the dealer tried to sell my wife with her RDX showed changing the ATF at 30k, 60k.
I would consider 30k, then every 30k, if I'm doing it myself. I'm also interested in hearing what the MM comes up with.
Concerning the filter -- there doesn't seem to be any recommendation for that from Honda/Acura. I might change
it once, with the 2nd fluid drain/fill. Or not. There are a couple of associated o-rings, not including the one that
directly attaches to the filter. Let us know, if you find a part number and source for those. Also, let us know how
the old filter looks, if you do change that.

The o-rings may be items 3 and 4 on this page at acurapartswarehouse.com. Their part fit verification
claims that they fit.
