Prices Paid and Offers Accepted 2019 RDX
Alot of people where doing that with the stinger gt since there where offering around 10k lease incentive. so if you negotiate a 5-10% dealer discount then use the lease incentive even after all the xtra fees you're looking around 37-39k otd on a 50-52k car.
Still sounds like a horrible deal...
The dealer better have given you the original wheels, especially if they charged you full price for your upgraded wheels. At least you can sell those, or keep them for changeovers in the winter...
What's your finance rate? If it isn't around 2% then you've been really hosed.

If anyone has a lease with Acura right now and can call and ask them what their buyout amount would be that would be appreciated! We can compare it to the sum of the remaining payments plus residual, taxes, title and see what's less expensive. Might be a great way for everyone here to get a better deal.
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if Acura Financial charges the interest on remaining payments if you buyout the lease early. Basically, would a payoff be less than the sum of remaining payments plus residual or the same as just keeping the lease until the end of term then buying it out. If so a lease with the lowest money factor then just buying it out would probably be even better than a one pay lease.

2019 Gunmetal SH-AWD with tech.
On dealer lot for ~110 days and jumped on it after seeing it'd be only ~ 5500 more than a CX-5 which we were cross shopping.
Got a finance price of $39,498 and additional 1000 off paid by acura loyalty discount. OTD 42210 with all weather mats, cargo tray, and 4 year service plan.

Hi, Just joined and wanted to add my data point since this tread helped me. I got the price I was looking for and one I consider fair, but maybe not the very best.
Purchased a 2020 RDX Tech package in Silver/Ebony
Vehicle Price $41,795
Discount 5% ($2,090)
Conquest dis ($1,000)
Price $38,707
Trade-in (9,750) This was basically the exact middle for Good condition KBB trade-in value range
Tag fee of around $120
Tax around $1800
Dealer fee of $800
They did not really argue with the new car discount, but tried to lower my trade-in by around $600. I held firm, but they took most of the accessories they added, I kept the pin stripping and mud flaps. This was at Autonation in Sanford/Lake Mary, FL. I asked the sales guy at the end what he thought of my deal and he said for what it was worth that for a 2020 that was the best he had seen so far, but who knows. Using this thread helped me be prepared and basically fill out an offer sheet that matched their format exactly. I ended up paying $13 more than my goal price. Maybe I shot too low.

That is absolute fact. YOu can get a payoff from your account on the finance site. On a lease you prepay interest so the payoff will not change for 30 days after making your normal lease payment.
Therefore Acura and Honda are very lease friendly and purchase friendly. My dealer used a low selling price but marked up my Money Factor in a very tricky way. They always try something. So I just paid it off to enjoy the initial low selling price. My interest or rent charge was $8000 for a 3 year advance lease. They should be ashamed of themselves. Fool me once....
The funny thing is my purchase price as $8000 off after all the incentives and discounts so in the end I got a great deal.

I purchased my 2019 RDX after leasing this past May. I enjoyed the lease incentive, the loyalty and a nice discount. You can pay a Honda Acura lease off at any time with no penalty.

No you do not pay future lease or rent charges. surprisingly Acura Honda leases and many others are quite fair. There is a pay off with no prepayment penalty.
So if your payments are up to date, you will owe a balance based on your original sale price less depreciation and rent charges you have paid since then (that is why sales price is important in leasing). However, that payoff does not require any future interest or rent charges. In fact since Acura leasing rates are so bad. Most people should at least refinance them especially if any change of keeping the car past the lease period.

Nice deal! I have discovered that if you refinance you get a 100% refund of protection plan with most of these rip off plans.
Any doc fee at your dealer.? that is another rip off method.

that was a fair doc fee. we have some 599 ones in Oklahoma. geez.
Anyhow, I was one of the Stinger guys who took advantage of lease cash and got a GT2 for insane price. When I bought out the lease, I found that the so called protection package was a warranty of wheels, tires, glass, door dings etc etc. Since not used in first 90 days I got a 100% refund. $425 However, I had to know that in this case. If yours was a high priced mat package that of course is different.

The only "fair" doc fee is $0. It's one of the other ways dealers make profit since we all expect to buy vehicles at or below invoice less holdback thanks to the internet.
They're capped at $150 in Texas. The only 0.3% of the purchase price for a $40,000 automobile, but it's 10% of the purchase price for a minibike for your kid!

I have been toying with idea of switching out my 2k mi SH AWD Advance for a 2020 A Spec SH AWD. I did the following experiment. VROOM offer is $38.500, carvana offer is $38223 (very off number) CARMAX surprised me with $39,000.
I then got a bid from my dealer on trading Bottom line was after my loyalty and military ($750) was my car plus $5000 out the door with all fees and front window tint. Doc fee included.
So that deal is really giving me $38,000 for my advance and a $2000 discount on the new one. Therefore the worst deal is the one offered by my faithful local dealer.
I would be much better off selling to CARMAX and getting a deal with no trade.
No real surprise I guess.
Anyone with an A Spec have any thoughts on my desire to leave the Advance? I like the A spec style.

I don't have an A-Spec, but unless you want the A-Spec interior, you could make-over the exterior to look like an A Spec. You might even be able to get an A-Spec badge.
Everything is negotiable guys.
Might still be better to order the warranty online from out of state since you won't be taxed. Of course, you would claim that purchase on your yearly tax return and be sure to pay those taxes afterwards lol
I'm in Canada so not familiar with your pricing but the TTT + Dealer Fee pretty much equals the so called Discount off the MSRP.
Wife has been talking about getting a sports car again since she misses her Infiniti G37xS. The RDX has been a nice vehicle but not all that we hoped it would be and still CarPlay is an issue. Went to the Genesis dealer yesterday and drove two Loaded G70's. One with the 2.0T and the other the 3.3T. Very sweet cars and the reviews have been fantastic. They say it's a better driving car than the BMW 3 series and I would say they are right! They offered me $36K for my RDX and, I must say, I am seriously thinking about it. It does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and it's super quiet and comfortable. Never thought I'd be thinking about getting rid of the RDX this soon but extremely disappointed with Acura. Software and map updates are non-existent which has made us all very angry. My only gripes are the infotainment system glitches and the tranny is not smooth shifting regardless of what mode you put her in which is also disappointing.
Not sure what we're going to do yet but I have been eyeing the G70 for quite sometime

It seems that this exodus is based on people finding out that the RDX was not the type of vehicle they needed/wanted in the first place and wanting a completely different class of vehicle which is totally fine, but sounds like an unfair comparison.

Not at all. I knew exactly what I wanted at that time and the RDX fit the bill perfectly. Looked at the Infiiti QX50 and the Madza CX5. The RDX has let me down in a few ways that Acura has not yet fixed as it has many others. You are correct in that comparing a Genesis G70 sports car to an RDX is unfair as the Genesis will win in several categories hands down and it is a sports car and not an SUV but this thread is a perfect place to post, as others have done, as folks review their purchase or look for advice.

This thread isn't the place for this. It's for prices paid and offers accepted for a new RDX. It is not for a "trade in value" for your RDX while you're looking to get another vehicle. There are plenty of more relevant threads on here for you to post this. I believe in the past couple of days I've seen a thread regarding trade in values, or threads that people are looking to get another vehicle. This one isn't it.
"Prices Paid and Offers Accepted 2019 RDX"
Sounds like if someone got an offer for their 2019 RDX that would be relevant to this thread. Helpful to know what a used 2019 RDX goes for and how much depreciation you will be hit with.

Again, you have to see how hilarious this is when you constantly complained that others were ruining your RDX ownership experience complaining. Now @mathnerd88 is feeling the same way as you did. The cycle continues...haha
So the people complaining early on with similar issues have reached the timeframe you require to blame Acura now and complain on the forum, get rid of their RDX, talk up competitors, etc.? How gracious of you..lol

Yes, I am looking to possibly trade the RDX in for a sports car while my RDX still has substantial value and my faith in Acura is waining. What's funny is that I posted a few items almost a year ago defending Acura believing that what I was told by their Technical Customer Service teams were true and asked folks to be patient...the patience for many has expired and you just can't let it go...now that my friend is what's truly funny!
Haha I can understand where you guys are coming from. Honestly I haven’t really gotten any issues with my infotainment system or transmission like some of you guys have. Maybe I’m one of the luckier ones? My car has 14k miles now.
Yes there are quirks sometimes which happen maybe 10% of the time but they aren’t glaring enough for me to get frustrated with it. Maybe my tolerance levels are higher? I have used Android for many years since almost its inception and have dealt with a lot of quirks in the past so maybe I’m used to it. I’m also more technologically inclined than most people. I’ve built my own PCs.
