Thanks. There was another person on here that got a good deal at Prime Acura Boston but MA is a little too far for me.

I got $1000 off msrp after a lot of haggling on a white/parchment awd tech. They first asked for msrp, then offered $500 off, then finally offered $1000. I have put a deposit down. Car is expected to be hear in about 10 days. Looking at the deals some folks are getting, I feel sad for myself.
White/parchment is apparently flying off the lots here. This is sacramento area and unless you have a white car, nobody wants to be friends with you. And there is only one acura dealer. The next nearest dealer is offering a much better price but doesn't have one and doesn't know when they will get one.

Very happy for you anoop. As for me, I just can't spend over invoice for anything and try not to let my emotion get the best of me when buying a car. For those that absolutely must have the car now, then it is what it is. However, everyone will be getting invoice or lower once the end of year comes around and, most certainly, after the first of the year. I did not have to buy now and would have waited but to get below invoice and when I stopped in during the Labor Day holiday weekend, they surprised me with their willingness to deal so I took it and ran!

I would like some opinions. I have been going back and forth with several dealers for 3 weeks in NC. I had an appointment and agreed upon lease amount for Saturday morning at a dealer a couple of hours away. In the meantime, my local dealer matched the offer and i completed the lease on Friday. I emailed the original dealer to say i would no longer be coming as i had made a purchase. This morning he emails be back and says Acura put up an additional $4,500 end of month incentive on RDXs and i should have been able to get a lease on a Tech with 12,000 miles and $2,000 down for less than $400 a month. Does this even sound reasonable or like sour grapes? Seems fishy to me the way the cars are selling that Acura would that much of an incentive on them already. Thanks.

Sounds good...have not received any PM's yet but I'll check again soon and we can chat via phone. Look at www.duvalacura.com to see if they have what you want and I'll hook you up. If not, they can order one or locate one for you.

As a new user, you are limited to two messages. Go into your messages and delete the Welcome PM and delete the one you sent me and I should then be able to send you my PM.
Go to www.duvalacura.com and see if you can find what you want. If not, they can find you one or factory order. I'll introduce you to the GSM and the salesman and we can make your deal.

Great forum with lots of valuable information. I am looking for prices paid in Charlotte, NC area. Specifically looking for a White Tech AWD with espresso interior. Henrick acura is the only dealer here and they don't have the exact combination available in inventory. But they did say there is one getting built and they can block it for me for $500. Did not discuss the price in detail but they said they are willing to negotiate on msrp a little bit. Looking for a Nov first week delivery. Appreciate any information shared.

Went to the Duval Acura website and clicked on GET EPRICE link for a 2019 RDX SH-AWD Advance, Modern Steel with Graystone, specific stock #.
Got an email back with Personal Savings of $5457 off of MSRP - except the quote specified a 2018 RDX AWD Advance, no stock #.
The games dealers play...
Called him on it and received quote on the 2019 - $1815 off of MSRP..

If anyone wants a real deal from Duval Acura you need to go through me. You will NEVER get a rock bottom price by talking or quoting over the web. Happy to help anyone that's serious in coming to JAX to buy their car but not interested in playing games with folks on the forum. I have great contacts here and don't want to ruin my relationships.
#978
No...they are friends of mine and they are happy to help those interested that I bring to them directly. Two folks on this forum have already purchased their RDX's through my dealer contacts and received invoice pricing or better. If you reach out to them directly, without my help, all bets are off.

I am one of the people who went to Duval Acura at securityguy's reference. I received $2356 off MSRP before the loyalty rebate. They also installed the trailer hitch for me for $610 where I have been hearing others are paying at least twice that amount. They did not have the car I wanted on the lot. Once we agreed on numbers, it was there in two days!

got offered $1,300 below MSRP without any incentives and without a trade-in where I live for a white A-Spec AWD. This was a day after they said they absolutely cannot go below MSRP LOL. Another dealership in the Bay Area is willing to do $1,500 off. I'm going to wait up until the end of December to see if I can get at least 3k off MSRP.

DFW area $43,895 ($3k off MSRP) no add-ons or accessories Nitrogen/Locks/Tint
Black/Black A-Spec SH-AWD
Be bold and the mighty forces will come to your aid. I feel good about it but I think some people are getting better around here than that.

How accurate are sites such as truecar, Edmunds TMV, and KBB? For my ZIP, they are showing about $1K off MSRP is the average of what people are paying. If those sites are accurate, I don't feel all that bad about my deal.

Just picked up an A-Spec Saturday
Thought I'd throw in my experience since I just completed a purchase this past Saturday.
Purchase was through Orange Coast Acura in Costa Mesa, CA. Cutting to the chase, dealers didn't seem to want to deal on these as I've been told that demand is still decent..I believe it, as it was pretty hard to find what i wanted (White A-Spec, black int). basically got the car for $1,000 off MSRP - Loyalty since i am coming from a '13 TSX. Personally I was fine not getting a "deal" on it as i know this car is only a couple months old.
I worked w/ Binh Nguyen (internet sales) at the dealership and it was an awesome experience..no pressure, not guilt trips for not buying the extended warranty whatever they are selling.... I'm pretty happy - of course i wish i would have gotten a better deal on the car, but I knew what I was getting into before starting the process...
NOTE: Originally I was trying to make the purchase thru Costco Auto however that dealership (Weir Canyon Honda) told me they couldn't get the car but to come in and negotiate. The dealer I ended up purchasing from was much closer and wasn't hostile when telling him I would be waiting a bit... The Costco rep at Weir Canyon got a bit angry and rude when I told him that since he would not give me any sort of quote on the phone I am going somewhere else.

I live in Orange County as well and demand is still very high with dealerships not budging very much. Did you get SHAWD or FWD? 2 months ago, Weir Canyon Acura was marking up their A SPEC SHAWD $4k over MSRP.

I originally wanted the SH-AWD but the $2,000 option more or less deterred me from that as honestly, I love a good performance vehicle, but didnt think i need it since it literally rains 2-3 days per year here, I wouldn't take this to the snow (would take truck instead) & wasn't interested in the increased insurance, maintenance, etc.
$4k over MSRP to me is a non-starter. I can't see any justification for a markup on a regular production car regardless of demand... maybe on a NSX or GTR but not on a RDX...

I got the fathom blue pearl advance with greystone. It wasn't the extra cost paint so it wasn't quite as good as what security guy got on his. Mine was 44k and included the wheel lock, mud flaps, cargo tray, cargo cover, all season floor mats, for a MSRP of 47066. With taxes of around 3200, final OTD was just over 48k. About 1k less than what the dealers in ATL were wanting, and that wasn't including the accessories.

I'm trying to follow the math here... Mind explaining what you said?
- Yours was $44K
- Included [accessories you listed] for an MSRP of $47,066
- OTD of just over 48K (including tax)

Pricing appears to vary dramatically as you travel east to west and north to south so I suggest you read this thread and negotiate your best deal. If you want to come down to JAX, I can get you a great deal at my local dealer and may save you thousands.

sure.. why not. Your contact info plz?

Are you looking for FWD or SH-AWD? The dealers in Raleigh are giving good discounts on FWDs due to the large inventory....
#997
Looking for AWD model. Can you please share your numbers and what dealer ? Tried Leith Acura and will never go back to them again. they offered ~700 off MSRP.
#999
That is a larger discount than what was offered to me. I got $1K off at Southpoint and was lucky that they had my color in transit.... I think you will get a $2K/$3K discount if you go to northern Virginia where they have a lot of SH-AWD in stock...
