Panoramic Sunroof tint

I'm wondering if the panoramic sunroof has ceramic tints, I'm looking into getting ceramic tints on my RDX 2022 and if I should do it for the sunroof as well.

I did 50% on the sunroof. I sometimes wish I went a little darker, but I also like the light coming through. Even with ceramic, when the sun is beating down it still gets hot. It's a large sheet of glass - I definitely recommend it.

Yep, the heat since the car has alot of glass was the reason i tinted everything.

I read (on the internet) that tinting a sunroof could cause heat buildup and cause it to shatter, I wonder if there is any truth to that?

Sorry, I just have to comment. So now you want us, who are also "on the internet" to tell you differently? Just seems comical.

I realize we are a good group of people here, but do we really know this answer?

My GUESS is that the tint will reflect the heat rather than cause it to build up.

It may shatter anyway, and the tint will hold the pieces together.

It will trap so much heat that the vehicle will expand into the shape of a VW bug. Kind of like the vehicle shown in your avatar.
On a more serious note, window tint reduces solar heat gain. It will not result in catastrophic failure of the sunroof panel.
As a long time Mustang owner I would appreciate it if you would replace your avatar with one that is scaled correctly. Thanks in advance.
