At just under 5000 miles it switched over to 30%, mostly city driving to and from work with stop and go traffic. There was an 800 mile highway trip in there. Maybe a proxy, maybe not to compare to your driving makeup affecting the OLM, our average mpg so far (all total) is right around 22 on premium, and my wife is pretty conservative with the pedal as her daily driver.

Any updates on people’s MM movements?

Odometer hit 5050 miles last night and OLM went to 40%

Did you happen to notice when it began showing 5% steps? So far mine has only displayed 10% increments - 100%, 90%, 80%, etc. Just a matter of curiosity.

wow, they really extended OLM. In first gen driving highway the most I could get 6500 miles and thats down to 0%.
with 15% left you probably have another 700-1000miles to go before it goes to zero.

Mine is at 6,000 and is showing 30%. First 1,000 miles were varied break in miles and then next 2,000 miles were road trip with mostly freeway speeds. The
last 3,000 miles were mostly rural driving with distances from 30 to 60 miles.

Frustrating to see how cheap oil and other thing are in the States. A quart of Mobil 1 on sale at WalMart is 12.50 plus tax. At times they will sell a five quart jug for 25 dollars plus tax

Even cheaper DIY oil change with rebate and then you know they didn't strip your drain plug lol.

You would be surprised how often I had dealer over tighten drain bolt or filter. That is why long time ago I went DIY. Saves tons of time, and also money. Once you know how to do it, it’s so easy and fast, saves time rather than going to dealer

it’s funny how they have time to look over your car to recommend 5 different services you don't need but not enough time to properly torque things down.

Oil changes are a waste of time for a dealer from financial point of view. They rush through them, they do spend more time checking other things hoping to find something juciy $$$.

Exactly, the point of the oil change is to find something they can actually make money doing.
