OK, my turn now with the Warning Lights situation. 2020 RDX SH-AWD. Just minding my own business, driving down the freeway. Enjoying life. Warning lights came on. Did the usual freak out for a minute, then remembered (because of this forum) that when all the warning lights start flashing, it does not mean the car is falling apart. I had to drive 50 miles to the dealer, (I was on the coast) and it definitely was not driving right. I was waiting for it to go into limp mode. However, she made it to the dealer before closing, and left it overnight.
The result? Pressurized fuel pump gave out.
Apparently there was a recall or TSB about these, but I did not receive any notices. I did move, though, and Acura had my old address; that may be a reason. Anyway, bottom line - Acura picked up the tab since it was still under the drivetrain warranty, 6-year or 70,000 miles. Otherwise it would have been a $2,500 bill. Now I wish I would have paid for the extended warranty when I bought the car. After 5,000 more miles I'm in the wild, and buying an extended warranty at this point will cost some serious coin. We'll see...
