Michelin Endurance XT install help...

Yes...feel free to talk trash, but...they are not installing very securely. I am lifting the cover (oem configuration from Michelin), and sliding them onto the JHook. The Jhook is seating as best I can tell, with the rear tabs gently closing around the base of the Jhook, however, there is no "snick/click", and I can easily force the wiper off of the hook in reverse with what I considet very minimal pressure. The safety cover prevents it from just hitting the eject Id think, but this Michelin is total trash vs oem. The only reason I bought it is because the PPFed windshield requires a 100% silicon blade. Any experience here or pointers?

Nevermind. I watched Michelin install videos. They are just kindof "meh".

I've always just bought Honda/Acura OEM wiper inserts and replaced them that way.

is there a silicon insert one can buy? If so, link? I need a silicon blade. So fsr the XTs are great, I just dislike their retention method vs oem.

I don't think Honda/Acura OEMs are silicone, but they're rubber. I bought them at $20 for all three inserts front and rear. Curry Acura dealer sells parts on their ebay store. I think they're closed right now due to supply shortages but it does pop up here and there. If not, you can visit sites such as acurapartsforless.com

To keep the PPF from getting torn up is the reason the manufacturer of it gave. I just do what they mfr recommends and it tends to turn out pretty well with most things.
