It looks like the first official 2019 RDX commercials will debut at tonight's NBA Finals game. Kudos to Acura for having ads ready so quickly. With that said, I would have preferred both spots to focus on the "best in class" features o the new RDX, but I get that they are probably wanting to first just introduce the product to the mass public who does not follow cars like we do.
If Acura is smart it will begin focusing on the competition and where this car's strengths are.

"Meet the future of Acura" seems like they're finally committed to turning the brand around. If the RDX is any indication of what's to come I finally have hope for the brand. Before this I was convinced Acura was going to just die off sometime soon.
