Lunar Silver Touch Up Paint - 2021 RDX
Does anyone know where I can get touch up paint that would match my 2021 Lunar Silver RDX? I once again had a minor slip up in the garage and ran into the side AND the garage door closed on the tailgate 😡 so I have fro scratches (side mirror and tailgate).
Above link is a better way to go than the 15 dollar touch up pens….

Ha! Coincidentally - today I picked up the Lunar Silver touch up paint for my RDX at the dealership. While I paid for the pen, they applied it free of charge - and offered that I come back any time for them to touch up anything I needed again.
I prefer they do it, I tried it once on my Accord and felt like I made it worse.
(The pen cost me around $25.)

I have found over the years there are two keys to getting the OEM touch-up paint to look good. One is to not apply too much paint all at once; it's much better to apply too little and then have to add a coat or two more to fully fill the scratch/ding. And the other is to make sure you have EXTREMELY steady hands. Sometimes, depending on the location you're trying to touch up, this can be really difficult. I always support my hand with something solid, or at the very least my other hand to help keep things smooth and steady.
It's certainly not like whipping out a brush to smear some paint over a mark on a wall, that's for sure!

So ya, I second this! Touch up paint has a bad reputation, but it's not terrible in the right hands.
