Looking seriously at a '21 Advance

I had a '16 and '18 Advance and am looking at a new white pearl/espresso for $46129 out the door. Any issues on a '21?

Seems like a good price, on first blush...considering the shortage of new vehicles. Has to be below MSRP, even without knowing what the OTD includes.

Selling price with conquest cash is $45067 plus the fees.
Best price by far in my area and 80 miles from me. I'm on the SC/NC border. near Charlotte. Somehow only one dealer in the Charlotte area and they were way too high. Though I did send my salesman who I've had two deals with the numbers proposal from another dealer. Will get back to me Monday.

I would make sure its VIN number is not included in TSB for limp mode. You dont want this possible issue if it can be avoided

I'm not liking this limp mode issue. Honda should have stayed with the 6 cyl. It was a great engine but nooooooo.

The 2.0T with the 10 speed transmission is a great combination as well. The "limp mode" situation that has been mentioned is NOT at all widespread within Gen 3 RDX population..

Buy yourself that 2021 Advance and enjoy the car!

If you own a pre 2021 RDX and did not have the intercooler TSB fix done as well as constantly drive conservatively which I suspect is a majority of RDX owners then it is highly unlikely that you will experience the limp mode issue.

OP had a ‘16 and ‘18, which were the previous gen and not subject to the TSB.

We have a '21 Advance SHAWD now with 2k miles ... zero issues so far! We feel the RDX Advance is the best trim level for the $ in the segment ... active dampers, 16 way seats, infotainment, and HUD are our favorite options.

Wish we could have the adaptive headlights and and auto folding side mirrors options though!

Changed my mind and am going with a black interior. I've had black interiors for many years. Will now have to wait until late next week. I'm told a white Advance is 5 days in transit and will be in next week sometime.

Excellent. Although we have a '20 Black Advance and the Espresso interior is pretty cool with the olive wood. We love it. Immerse yourself with the 16-speaker ELS 3D audio system - it's incredible.

I can only imagine how nice it is! I have a base RDX and I love the sound system, it’s the best I’ve ever had

Vince D . . .that expresso interior over black is what we wanted, but so impossible to find! You definitely lucked out! Also agree the ELS 16x speaker audio is crazy . . . so clear and zero distortion!

You can see in http://www.urvi.net/forumfiles/SB/B20-053.PDF starting with which VIN# the limp mode was addressed in 2021

Yeah, just do it. I thought my '16 was great, but the '21 Advance is better. I'm pushing 2000 miles now with no complaints. It's quieter and handles better. It would be hard to give up the HUD now.

I plan on keeping this RDX longer than my last two RDX's. I will buy a warranty from Sean Rausch Hyannis Honda instead of Saccucci due to less cost. for my 7/70 choice. Hopefully, my RDX will be by Friday.
