looking to buy a 3G RDX-any years to avoid?
I had a 1g RDX that I loved, but it got stolen right before covid hit. Insurance paid me pre-covid price, but right after that car prices went crazy. I thought if i waited awhile, prices would come back down, but apparently that is not gonna happen.
Now I'm very interested in getting a 3G RDX, but I heard the first few years had a lot of problems. Is there a consensus on what model years to avoid and which ones are good?
Anything I should know, etc?
Any posts on here I should read?
Thanks

I have a 2019 and they have had a lot of issues over the years though in the last 12 months I think they finally turned the corner and finally got all the issues out of their system. If you were to consider a 2019 I would ask for service records showing all the TSBs that were handled - eg. did the customer go in and get the squeaky brakes fixed, the squeaky control arm etc or did they ignore it all? If they ignored it then avoid it. If they addressed all the TSBs then you're probably fine to get a 2019.

2021+ are great years. Acura worked out most of the teething issues on the 2019 and 2020. There are an ever growing plethora of used vehicles filling the dealer lots. Lots of deals to be made, as it’s a buyers market.
