Keys and Memory Seats

I'm usually the only one who drives the car, but recently my wife has been using the car and adjusting the seat to her preference. When I go to get in the car though, I've been expecting the seat to return to my set position - I thought the key one used to unlock the door was supposed to trigger the seat memory for that driver. But it doesn't. I can just push the memory button, which is fine, but isn't it supposed to do it itself?

Ya, I do agree with you. Perhaps try setting a Driver 2 memory to test?
OR, maybe there is a setting buried that was turned off to allow that function?

see page201 and 347 in pdf manual 2019

Are you using key 1 and she using key 2? You can save your settings under the corresponding buttons in the car for the seats and have those settings saved with the corresponding key. The car will recognize which key is in the car and adjust the seats and mirrors to which one is present. I use it all the time while teaching my wife to drive. It’s in the manual.

Yes. Did you set and save the config for each fob?

Thanks for pointing out the part in the manual - I’ll review. I guess I didn’t realize there were extra steps involved - I thought fob one and memory one were automatically linked. I’ll check to make sure these are saved or linked to the fob in some way.
