Door Ding!

Hey guys,

So, I just noticed my first door ding on the passenger side door this afternoon. I just called a PDR guy, and he thinks it shouldn’t be any problem removing it. Has anyone had a ding removed on their RDX? If so, did the repair turnout ok?

Thanks all!

it all depends on the skill level of your PDR guy.
if your PDR guy sucks, then you will have a bad time.

on the other hand, more fingers!
lol, if your PDR guy has been doing it for a while and has built up his knowledge and skill of how to take the dents out, then you're going to be amazed by his work!
so, instead of asking us....ask your PDR guy on how many cars he has repaired, or how long he has been in business and if he could show you some of his work.

My old ride had a bunch of little dings in the roof, hood and top of fenders from hail. Had a PDR guy repair if and it came out perfect! Make sure you use someone with experience and you won’t be disappointed.

I love PDR magicians but as everyone else pointed out, ask to see their previous work. Typically they would the before and after of their work on their website. My wife sideswiped my A4 a few years back and It looked terrible, but the PDR guy took the door off and spent several days massaging it - it looks freaking amazing snd people can’t tell what happened.

This is why I always seek out the most open parking spot in the lot, no matter how many extra steps it takes. So far, after 10 months I'm ding-free.
Although there's been a few times I've found my supreme lone-wolf open parking space in the back of the lot, only to come back out of the store and find the largest, highest Dodge Ram truck parked next to me, who backed the truck in.

...and either I'm getting shorter or these massive trucks are getting higher, sometimes I'm eye-level with the grill. I dunno...

I always park as far out as possible too, however, inevitably, I always have somebody with a POS that has to park out right next to me.

As far as the ding goes, I had it removed today (quarter size) for $85. You can't even tell anything happened - those PDR guys are amazing!
