Is there a way to change the colour of the dash/gauge cluster from Red to say, blue?

TIA

Assuming you have the A-Spec model hence the red cluster. There is no way to change it from the cars settings but you can get a company to change the red lights to blue but it would be a permanent change because they literally take out the red bulbs and put blue ones in. I doubt you want to do that to a new car though.

Ha! - well, I guess it depends on your personality. I would prefer blue. I am afraid the red will my add to my tendency to speed or flip people to bird when they cut me off

I don't get why they don't make that more customizable. The MKX I had let me change the interior lighting color from several shades of yellows, blues, greens and reds. I think the instrument cluster lights didn't change but all accent lighting did.

My 2011 Ford Edge did that. Would be nice if ours had it.

Haha! If you notice most German cars use or used to use red lighting for their switches. I remember reading an article that this was on purpose because red is non fatiguing on the eyes. It helps that red is my favorite color lol.

I absolutely agree. I love how Ford lets you customize the ambient color lighting. Audi takes it a step further with the Q5, you can pick between like 15 colors AND you can make the top and bottom a different color. So I had my upper doors and dash purple and the footwells as yellow. It allowed for some super awesome color schemes. Also tried a red on blue theme which was cool.

Mercedes takes that even further and you can choose SIXTY FOUR INDIVIDUAL COLORS for the ambient lighting. It's insane. But I honestly think somewhat mandatory to at least have a few choices.

I don't think Acura is that into lighting. Footwells, glovebox, puddle lights all very dim. Lift the rear hatch...no lighting...lift the hood...no lighting.

Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it.

I think it was more about where to expend development time. All that is required to have a limitless selection of colors is to use an RGB LED and software to control it. Not much additional hardware cost at all and marketing would have loved it.
