Dash cam Time-lapse of RDX after Blizzard
I am from Rochester, Minnesota and we had a horrible blizzard getting about 13.5 inches of snow. I thought I would post the video I created driving around in my RDX of the aftermath and all the people stuck.
I was doing great driving around all day, but when I got home I thought I could get through a 3ft snow bank that had drifted onto the road, and that was a mistake. It hung up my front of my car, and that was enough to keep my stuck for 2 hours trying to get myself out. It was so cold my hat and pants had frozen solid, I took my hat off and it was hard as a rock in the shape of my head. My eyelashes were also kept freezing together so I couldn't open my eyes, it was quite a day! 55mph winds were blowing around then also. Luckily with some help from others we were able to get the snow out from under it and got it out.
Overall this car is a beast in the snow, even with the crappy Goodyear tires they put on the A-Spec. The only thing that will get you stuck is if you get in snow deeper then you have ground clearance, and you get hung up. This snow was super thick heavy and wet, so once you got more under you then could be scrunched, it would stop you (as expected).
Also, Car number 4 is an Acura MDX !
Enjoy the video, I didn't include the part of me getting stuck ha ha.

No you don't. I've been in VA (Norfolk) when there was accumulating snow - the ramifications were ugly. Locals don't even know how to walk in snow much less drive. Not being critical of them it's just they have no experience and it shows.
