Anyone replace the rolling lid compartment cover on the center console. I have some scratches on mine and wondering if its a easy replacement.

The one in my Advance is wood. If it has any light scratches, they're harder to see and not noticeable. The covers I've seen in the other trims appear to be aluminum in a sort of satin finish, perhaps with a plastic clear coat. It looks like it would show scratches easily.

If you can and do decide to replace it, you might consider one from the Advance.

 

Funny, I almost never see mine, as it is always open! Drink in cup holder, arm rest forward, etc. I had forgotten it is wood. I like the fact that my Advance does have wood in the cabin, but feel it is a waste in this location.

I haven't replaced mine but I have disassembled the center console and don't see replacing the cover to be particularly challenging.

 

do you have any descriptions or pictures of dismantling? cant see where to start?
