I have a 2019 RDX. When I turn the car off most often there is a solid beep noise. Sometimes it will break up a little but most times it's solid. It's not consistent.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

If so, it's the Electronic Throttle Control actuator.

 

What I get after turning off the car:

• Single Beep when I close the door. Followed by another beep when the car auto locks.
• Multiple Beeps when I close the door. This only happens when I had someone (or something) in the back seat. I believe it is an auto reminder so you don't forget to leave your kids in the back seat. I've not tested this one out much, but it happened last night. I had a lot of boxes/items and put some on the back seat. When I cleared the car and closed the door, I got several beeps (4 I think).

 

The rapid beeping is the reminder that the doors did not lock. You walked away before the auto lock feature could lock the doors. There is no reminder beep for checking for kids in the back seat. Read your manual it’s all explained there.

And note that I did read the manual. But when buying the car, I also read 7 other manuals. Some of the features start to blur together. I'm thinking the child rear seat feature must have been in the Santa Fe.
