Auto Stop
I've had my '21 RDX for a year and a half now. The automatic stop doesn't work anymore. I don't use the car very much, especially in winter so it usually does not shut off sometimes during winter, but now it never shuts off. Could my battery be getting tired, has this happened to any of you? Only 13,000km on odometer.

Lower the use more chance the battery is just a little low ( not a peak charge) ……..that will prevent idle stop and is very common.

u Turn off the engine. Close the hood before you restart the engine to activate Auto Idle Stop.
• The battery charge is low.
• The internal temperature of the battery is 14°F (−10°C). or less.
• The climate control system is in use, and the outside temperature is below −4°F

Mine quit working entirely, the battery took a dump without ANY warning about three weeks later, and was replaced under warranty after they did full diagnostic test on the charging system and battery..
I would get yours tested ASAP, and be sure to always carry a lithium battery jump start box.
