I have had my 2020 RDX for a little over a week. Initially, the auto high/low beam was working but for some reason it has stopped. The auto on/off IS working but not the Auto High/Low function. I also no longer see the headlight gauge icon with the “A” in the middle. I have the headlight switch set to Auto with the low beam set on the arm. I tested it by turning the high beams to see if they would dim with approaching cars. They do not. I went into settings and did not see any specific setting other than sensitively related to auto high/low beams. I read the manual and there is a statement about setting the headlights on Auto with the low beam set and pulling back on the arm for 30 sections until the icon blinked. I tried that and nothing happened.
Any ideas if I’m doing something wrong? Anyone have this issue? Any help will be appreciated as I hate to go to the dealer for this.
PS I did find this after posting. I’ll try this to see if that corrects the problem.

I’m happy to report for those who may be interested that the instructions on my original post worked. I apologize for my premature post but perhaps it may help someone in the future.

Ha, my problem is keeping the auto hi beams OFF. I hate them. It takes 40 seconds to turn them off, and then all it takes is one hi-beam flash to pass someone and they come back on.

I like them but I agree that they can be problematic. For me the biggest problem is that they do not switch to low beam quickly enough for oncoming cars. At any rate, at least I now know how to activate & deactivate them. :-)
I like ‘em, but I am out here in darkest suburbia. One flash and they are off for the ride, and a reflash puts them back on. For me, on balance, I like it better than I dislike it.
It is one of my favorite features. And for me it works nearly perfectly.
The only problem is that I get use to them being automatic. Then get in my 2011 EXL Accord Coupe V6 and wonder why the high beams are not turning on.
