Can this be turned off? It dims down goin under an over pass and rainy days. Explain to me why would I need brightness to go down.

Just leave it on max brightness for fuck sakes. End rant.

My other Acuras can disable the auto interior dash dim when I set the display to max. Downside is it can be too bright at night if you want a little less light. I would try setting the dash illumination one bar below max to see if the auto dim might be a livable level compared to current setting.

I will give that a try but I prefer to keep it full brightness at all times.

BTW, I'm talking about the infotainment screen auto dimming dark goin under an overpass and rainy cloudy days. It does correct it self going back full brightness after a bit of driving or if I manually use the physical buttons behind the steering wheel by pressing darker then brighter.
