Thank you. On one of the YouTube videos that goes through this process, one of the screens said "Align System Application from Factory Setting Information is done". That could be interpreted as a factory reset but glad to hear that if it needs to be done, settings are not lost.

Unfortunately 1.6.2 update does not fix this issue of disabled USB if you hit reverse before system boots.
Will mention to dealer on next visit. Its easy to reproduce also

I have literally the same issue. Every few days. Both with iPhone X and new iPhone 13. No resolution yet.

Only happens when you engage reverse before Infotainment fully boots?

Acura car. Play now a class action lawsuit

Well at least I’m not the only one with iPhone Acura RDX car play issues

any one else get a copy of the legal issue where American Honda is now roped in

its a class action for Infoteinment system, not just Car Play. The class action is BS, and settlement is pathetic, you get 2 more years warranty and maybe couple of years of their security package.
