Has anyone had luck finding and installing an aftermarket heads up display unit for their RDX? I have a 2019. No bells and whistles needs, just really want the digital speedometer. Thanks in advance!

 

I mean, there are aftermarket ones available on Amazon that plug into ODB2 interface or use GPS, but I've seen these and generally they are piss poor substitute. The lag and accuracy is not enough to replace your speedometer, it might only help when your speed is fairly steady like on interstate. You then either have to use reflective film on the windshield or you end up with ghosted image of the display that is also poorly readable in sunlight, or both. It just isn't very good.

 

there is a WiFi obd2 app for a iPhone called OBD fusion. The app works well, and it has a mode just for Hud display. I have not played with it yet, but it may be sufficient for you. It takes the display and mirrors it so you can put the phone on the dash and see the reflection. Of course getting a cheap older iPhone and mounting it might work also.
