Acurawatch Down

Acurawatch was foiled by this layer of ice over the radar. This is one thing I'm not thrilled about with the radar based driver assist systems.

It really would for the winter conditions. My previous car had a camera based system, and it worked well in inclement weather and winter. Only seriously heavy rain caused any issues, and even then it was temporary.
