Acuracare coverage pricing

Hey Everyone

I am considering buying out my 2021 RDX and was offered around 7.4 percent for loan and $3,700 for Acura car for 3 year 100,000

Currently have 21,000 miles on the car.

Is the price fair, and is it worth it with the miles I have?

Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can buy it cheaper online?

And lastly, can you add acuracare after the car is bought out?

Thank you very much

I have a 21’ RDX Aspec SHAWD with 21k miles too, and 13 months left on the bumper to bumper warranty. Mine has been issue free and like a tank.

Personally I don’t believe in buying additional warranties (for anything) as the time I have I’d never used them or the company went out of business (3rd party warranty company). I’d rather put that money toward a newer vehicle in a few years. But that me, and others would choose the opposite.

I've seen these dealers mentioned quite often as being good places for purchasing extended warranties.

Thank you. I heard of the Hyannis one. I believe some people used someone from there to buy. I forgot the name of the salesmen there. I will look it up

Thank you

$3700 seems very steep, so I’m curious if the other quotes you get from the links above are more reasonable, or if the economy has ruined extended warranty pricing too.

I paid $2690 for a 5 year or 120,000 miles Acuracare warranty back in Jan/2023 for my 19 MDX Adv Sport Hybrid with 41,200 miles from my local Acura dealership in NM. There was a $300 premium added to $2390 5/120k warranty because of the higher mileage being so close to 50,000 miles. I would think the Sport Hybrid powertrain is the most complex offered by Acura and Acuracare prices were exactly the same for 11 MDX Adv-Ent 5/120k Acuracare warranty I purchased back in Oct/2014.
