So here's a question that perhaps someone here may shed some light, I figured I would ask here first before calling Acura and asking. I have a 2022 Aspec Advance model and no spare tire. If I needed to fix a flat tire, would this program actually provide me with a spare tire to get me on my way to fix the flat tire? Just trying to weigh if it would be better to just use this service or spend the money to get the spare tire kit.

I thought that all AWD's had a spare tire.

I cannot speak from personal experience, but I am 99% sure that they will not install a wheel and a tire, they will just tow you to the nearest tire store. The Aspec and PMC cars do not have a spare kit, I just installed one and it makes me feel a LOT better on those remote back roads, with no cell signal. If you have a severe flat and can’t call out, you are going to have to walk, or stick out your thumb. Or use a satellite communicator like an inReach. THANK YOU, Acura, for nothing!

The Advance alone does, but not the Aspec with Advance package

Comes with a sealant/inflator kit in a compartment in the cargo bay, I am sure if that doesn’t work and under warranty Acura will send a tow truck. The reason no real spare on the ASPEC/Advance is that the 20” rims with the wider tire would not fit but am sure a donut spare would.

OK well I went ahead and ordered the kit, now besides the tire itself, is there anything else I will need?

The four loop hold downs in the cargo floor have to come out. They are large (number 3) Phillips head screws, underneath the hinged plastic covers, some owners have reported that they are really hard to get out. Use a correct large tip and a hand impact driver. That is what I did, they popped free with one hammer blow with no trauma or damage. I can’t recommend any particular tool, mine is about 45 years old. Take a look here.

they just tow you to the local dealer and/or whats avail in a remote area.
