3G RDX 2.0 L Turbo engine

Hey guys. I’m an owner of a 2019 Acura RDX. I really love the vehicle and I have nothing but good things to say about the RDX. Does anybody know if the same 2.0 L engine has been used on other Honda vehicles in the past to know how reliable the engine is long-term. Thanks for all of your help guys!

Really the only issue is oil dilution due to direct injection. It's not an issue isolated to only Honda, but really just a design "flaw" of GDI engines in general. It's worse if you're in a colder climate or take frequent short trips with the car. Other than that, I haven't heard anything major yet.

There's also the limp mode thing, but that seems to be less of an issue with the motor itself and more with the intercooling or piping.
