2023 RDX AWD Advance vs 2023 A Spec AWD Advance

Can anyone help with pointing out the differences? I get the different sport seats, larger rims and sportier look. I also see that they force you to add the A Spec to get certain exterior/interior color combos.

I'm leaning towards the AWD Advance, but want to make sure I don't miss out on anything by not purchasing the A Spec AWD Advance.

Thanks for any input!!!

I just faced this same dilemma. The A Spec Advance gives you larger 20" wheels but eliminates the spare tire. You get an inflation kit instead. The other differences are cosmetic. By that I mean the A Spec Advance has a "sportier" appearance. The seats are 2 tone with a suede insert, but with the same level of adjustments as the Advance. You get a sport steering wheeling and the badging is different on the car. Everything else is the same, meaning drivetrain, suspension, electronics, safety systems, infotainment systems, etc. The Advance is really the better value, but I opted for the Aspec Advance just because I liked the looks. The only negative for me, besides the additional cost, is no spare. I pick it up next week. I think either is a great choice.

Appreciate all the awesome feedback! What colors did you go with?

Congrats! You gotta be excited!

I like the blue with the black interior. Not sure if I want to pay more for the A Spec to be able to get this.

I noticed the rebates have come back. Unfortunately interest rates are also up.

I'm thinking closer to the end of the year for my purchase.

We went with the Ivory seats with the black inserts. We liked the contrast. We were supposed to pick it up on Saturday, but they're calling for crappy weather starting tonight. Sleet, freezing rain, snow (Western PA). So the car would be a mess when we got it home. We pushed the delivery date back to later in the week. I'd be happy to answer any of your questions as best as I can. Good luck!

You can, of course, add a spare if you want. It's the same space on any RDX model. Why the A Spec didn't get a spare is beyond me, but we added the kit on ours. FYI....there is, or was, a regular spare and an A Spec spare kit available with slight variations in the wheel/tire size. We also keep the inflate/green goop kit that came with the car in it's storage area, but those have an expiration date on them and presumably need to be replaced every few years.

I decided on the Liquid Carbon/Ebony ASPEC ADV. My salesman just emailed me and gave me the VIN. He said it is built and waiting on the choo choo. I considered the Advance package, but I was not a fan of the wood grain or the 19" rims. I love the sport chrome look and the Black headliner of the ASPEC ADV. Plus it has 20" rims. I am debating whether or not to add Black roof rails to it.
