2021 Acura RDX stalls
#2
There was an issue with limp-mode and stalling in the rain under acceleration. There have not been any posts here that I have seen with the problem you describe.
Get thee to a dealer.

Accelerating slowly or normally? Either way, I'd be surprised I'd it didn't leave behind some OBD codes.
Limp mode usually occurs after an extremely hard acceleration, like getting the RPM near red line. It's never happened to me but I hear it leaves no codes.

Never assume!
BTW: Just because the MIL did not illuminate does not necessarily mean that there is not a code set in the system. There are very strict rules about what will turn on the MIL, some codes do not cause it to illuminate on a first failure and then clear on the next "trip" if they "pass" making it more difficult to find.

It is not a result of hard acceleration. The opposite would be more true. With my foot on the gas pedal and accelerating slowly, as it shifts through one of the lower gears it’s as if the engine stops, then a second or two later, it takes off.
I have put it in S mode where you shift manually with paddle shifters and it never “stalls”.
My suspicion is that there is logic that causes the engine to stall very shortly during shifts and that logic may have an issue in my car.

take a video of it...
what you are describing isnt considered stalling.
can you see the slight pause on the tach? meaning, will the RPMs hang or dip?
why not just take it to the dealer, as we have no clue what you're talking about without seeing or feeling the problem

I’ll take it to my dealer when I get back home in a few weeks.
I didn’t realize stall was such a cryptic term. It’s as if you shut off the engine for a second or two and then it takes off again.
it’s rather sudden and totally random. I will try to take note of the tach next time it happens. Happened twice today. Once accelerating straight from a stop. Certainly not hard acceleration. It’s the kind of thing that leads to getting rear ended.

I'm curious if this is a reference to the way the RDX reduces power during shifts, which when I first got the vehicle felt a little extreme and cumbersome especially with the 2-3 shifts required to cross an intersection at low power. Not sure I'd go so far as to call it a stall but it definitely stops forward power momentarily during shifts at low power. Giving it some gas smooths things out in my experience.

That said; turn off the auto stop and see how that affects the issues. That may help the dealer diagnose the issue.
