That touchpad is not integrated with the console. This must be an early prototype / test mule, not a finished product.
And are the shifter buttons laid out horizontally in the same asinine position as current MDX? I hope they aren't stupid enough to carry that forward.

I don't anticipate any additional features or body changes in the 2020 model year either. The 2018 to 2019 MDX added the aspec trim and adaptive dampers to the advanced trim.

I will be totally ticked off if the 2020 has a more powerful processor in the Infotainment system. I mean, I'd be happy for those buying the newer car of course because the system is obviously underpowered, but ticked that in order to get that more powerful processing, I would have to trade in the car. No way there would be hardware "updates" for 19s.

I’m not sure of the technology that Acura uses for their seats so I will elaborate. Some car companies will use buzz words like ventilated or cooled or air conditioned seats. My strong preference would be something that has active cooling (e.g. chilled air) being circulated through the seat pours. Here is an overview:
https://auto.howstuffworks.com/air-c...oned-seat1.htm
Does Acura have cooled air or it is hot/room temp air that just blows out? I liken it to going to an old person’s house where all they have are fans. Sure it creates circulation but getting hot air blown on you is not great. What you really want is that house with central AC. I want the same for the seats!

I agree that would be a nice extra feature to have active cooled seats but I can attest living in Dallas and using these in the summer if I have the car cabin cooled I can keep my back from sweating which is a big win.

For what it's worth, I was talking to a salesman at our local dealer today and asked him when he thought the 2020 models might come out. He said his guess would be late September or October. I hope it's sooner than that as we would like to get one sometime this summer.

By the way, I am loving my RDX Touring. You will also!

I was in a dealership out here in Long Island New York yesterday and they didn’t have the white with black interior awd drive advance I wanted and they were pushing the black on black on me. The sales guy told me he could get the white in a day or 2, then when the sales manager came over he said it’s hard to get it or find it as they stop production on the 19’s because they are producing the 2020’s and he is expecting the 2020 sometime in June, take it for what it’s worth.

I guess we'll know when the 2020 RDX is close when EE4Life starts posting the 2020 guides and manuals. He started posting the 2020 TLX docs a few weeks ago and Acura just announced the 2020 TLX will begin arriving at dealers on 4/2.

As for 2020 TLX, is that an FMC ( full model change ), perhaps? They tend to come out earlier in the year than carry-over models.

It's worth pretty much nothing, because they were giving you the hard-sell on what they had on the lot. Are there other dealers around NYC, perhaps?

Yeah, Long Island is lousy with Acura dealers. I wasn't impressed with Bay Shore, even though it's the closest. I was treated better at both Smithtown and Huntington.

Then an awful lot has changed in a month when I took delivery on mine. Everybody had plenty of Advance trims in white diamond pearl with ebony or parchment. I really wanted espresso and that would have taken a day or two, probably to be ferried from NJ, CT or Westchester. But, the wife wanted parchment and I promised I'd let her pick the colors. I guess that's why I ended up with a chick car.

yeah that’s the dealer I was at bay shore..pretty sure he was just trying to make me take delivery on what he had in stock, as I Huntington has the white/ebony but bay shore was giving me the better deal.

Would likely have been less expensive to buy the Tech wheels outright, and then sell the Advance wheels, or just get scrap money for them.
#63
Color dependent advance wheels
Personally, I’ve decided to powder coat my wheels gloss black this spring to contrast my Performance Red paint.
Someone in the wheels/tire section posted their changes on a Black Advance, killer look IMO.
