2020 RDX Advance Heads Up Display Distorted
Recently the Heads Up Display on my 2020 RDX Advance has become distorted. I have moved the display up and down via the dash controls to no avail. Have other owners had this issue and if so, how was it repaired? My vehicle has over 54,000 miles, so there is no warranty remaining.

Lots of steps in the procedure. I guess the techs get pretty fast at it after doing a bunch, but it would take me 4x the time allowed under warranty.

I wonder whether they changed materials for the newer model years. I also wonder whether the fading was worse/faster for cars that are outside all the time (not garaged).

My RDX is always garaged. The only time it is outside is when I was at work. That period was probably maybe 10 hours total five days a week. Driving to and from work, then sitting at outside at my office. I did read the procedure you provided. Yes, a pretty big ordeal. My car has almost 54,000 miles so it is out of warranty. I suspect the repair will be costly. Thanks again for sending the information about the repair.

Another way to prevent in, would be to get the windshield tinted with ceramic tint (LLumar or Xpel) - thus reducing the heat and 99% of the UV rays that probably attributed to it fading and distorting.
