2020 Fuel pump(s) issue
My 2020 RDX (45k miles) went into "limp" mode with all the warning lights lit up. Went to Advanced Auto, battery is good, error code P0087.
Took to the dealer and they replaced the "normal" fuel pump under the recall. Still all the warning lights. Now they are saying the high pressure fuel pump under the hood needs to be replaced and is not covered.
1) I tried to question if the recalled fuel pump could have caused the other one to go bad, but they're not buying this and perhaps was a long shot.
2) Asked if this would be covered under the powertrain warranty - it specifically mentions "fuel pump" under the Engine section but no luck. They claim the part number does not qualify - P/N 06161-6B2-305
3) Is it hard to replace this myself? I'm fairly hands-on with car repairs.
Any guidance or suggestions are appreciated. Thinking of contacting Acura to double check if it would qualify under warranty. Thanks!

You can pay $35 for a 1-day subscription to techinfo.honda.com, and see the fuel pump replacement instructions. This way you can see if you can DIY.
I'd suggest raising to Acura customer service, I see no way that a fuel pump shouldn't be covered if the warranty specifically says fuel pump is covered.
If I were in your shoes I'd pay to repair it and then sue Honda in small claims court, seems cut and dry and if Acura customer service blows you off you can tell them a lawsuit will be coming so they should cover it to save them their time and legal fees in a clearly losing case. Personally I'd do it for the life experience, it is good to use a clear cut case like this to learn how small claims court works in case I'd need it in the future.

Agreed on Acura customer service. Their warranty book explicitly states that fuel pumps are covered. This should include both the in-tank pump and the high pressure pump. Here is the 2020 warranty booklet:
