motor difference between gen3 MDX and gen2 RDX

is RDX's motor the same Dream Earth V6 as in the new MDX?

Definitely different engines. The MDX 3.5 L engine uses direct injection and cylinder deactivation that goes from six cylinders to three cylinders. The RDX Use is port injection and follows a six – four – three cylinder deactivation profile. At this point it's not clear if they are entirely different cylinder blocks, but I think it's safe to say they are different engines.
