Hey y'all,

First time venturing onto the MDX side of the forums here - My mom has a 2017 awd with an advance package that I was planning on helping her service. Well, it may be a bit more selfish than that, as I'm planning on taking a 1500mile round trip venture here in a few months. Wanted to make sure everything was ship shape beforehand - I've taken this car on road trips before in the past, though I think it's overdue for service. I'll try to be short here.

Transmission fluid - Planning on using Honda DW-1 ATF, I was wondering if it's like other Hondas/Acuras where I'll get roughly ~3qts out of a single drain + fill? Or maybe more comes out of this car since its bigger? Is there an inline transmission filter on this vehicle as well?

Transfer case fluid - On our 16 RDX, I've used the Valvoline 75w-90 gear oil with good success - I believe the OEM is like 75w-85 for the RDX....does that sound similar for the MDX?

Rear Diff fluid - Honda dual pump II fluid - also just wondering if this is indeed the correct spec, and was wondering if anyone knew the rough capacity?

I'd imagine most other aspects of the vehicle are similar to the rdx? Trying to think of what else (besides the obvious, tires, oil, coolant, brake fluid condition..) to check before embarking.

Here's a scan of the specs for the fluid on my '19 MDX - should be the same as the '17 MDX.... FYI - the drain-and-fill for the ZF9 transmission requires more accuracy to temp of the fluid in vs out and volume. Look on this forum for examples of the ZF9 fluid changes....
