Rotate tires?
Rotate tires?
Do you guys rotate tires? In the old days, it used to be thought that if you have full-time 4wd, then you do not need to rotate. Our MDX is full-time AWD (power goes to both axles all the time). Wear and tear should be more even than (for example) Honda CRV where 100% of power goes to the front most of the time.

I would still rotate. The weight balance of the MDX is not 50-50, so you have more weight on the front tires and they drive the vehicle the most of the time. Therefore, the front tires will wear out faster and you should rotate for even wear.
I rotate every oil change and then cross rotate on every other oil change on my TSX, RDX and MDX. I've noticed I get a touch more wear on the front/driver side tire compared to the rear/passenger tire. I think it is because fronts are doing most of accelerating, turning and braking compared to the rear tires. The added weight of the driver and most right hand turns are tighter compared to sweeping left hands turns put more wear on the outer edge of front/driver tire for me. Cross rotation also evens out wear and helps keep the tires a little more quiet when you get closer to the wear bars.
