I received my 2015 mdx awd tech about 2 weeks ago. While I was detailing the car i noticed a part of the vehicle where it's developing rust spots and a chunk of paint missing. It was hidden really well and wasn't noticeable till I cleaned the car inch by inch. I called into the dealership and told them that this looks like an issue with the factory paint job. I mean it's located in a spot on the corner of where my windshield is. They told me it could be caused my a rock chip but told me to bring it in for the manager to see. Does this look like a rock chip?





2nd there is a grinding noise when I turn the steering wheel, it's very noticable when i turn it a bit faster then normal.

3rd the drivers side adjustable seat motor makes abnormal noise when moving it forward and back. the passenger side doesn't make the same amount of noise =\

 

that's NOT rock chip, bring it in!

 

Well I brought it in the are willing to fix the paint. But the service manager told me the scraping sound on the steering wheel is normal =_= and the louder then average adjustable seat on the drivers side is normal. They said every car might be louder or lower but they are all normal. We listened to another MDX and it isn't as loud as my car WTF? Acura really? The RDX wasn't as bad as this. I mean why are some cars louder then other? It should be all about the same coming off the assembly line. I'm going to bring keep bringing it in till they fix it or consider it as a lemon and I will get something else. =\

 

I got identical problems on my 2014 MDX. A little rust spot that looks like rock chip, but with RUST! I don't know if I should bring it in too.
My steering wheel also makes screeching noise when it retracts at power down, but dealer deny they hear anything and can't repeat the problem when I brought it in last time.

 

It seems like every Acura got problem. I want my Acura built in Japan.
