Res ?

Does the RES play DVD-A and Blu-ray Discs?

No blu ray. Dvd a a only if it has regular dolby surround tracks.

Thanks for the info. Having no Blu-Ray and DVD-A capability is a deal breaker for me. Acura was the leader in DVD-A, but looks like they too think the medium is dead. As far as Blu-Ray is concerned they certainly dropped the ball. Shame on you Acura. You just lost a loyal customer.

Be prepared to be heartbroken a lot, no OEM Blu-ray yet a real PITA. Regardless, the screen def is far from high def.
