I will be picking up my MDX Tech later this week. When I do a walk through/inspection before signing paperwork - what should I be looking for other than the obvious physical damage? Thanks!

 

Check all the seals where the doors, hood etc Look at the date the car was manufactured. You want later date if your buying a 14. Check the paint for scratches. Check the leather for tears etc. listen to the engine for any strange noises. Good luck!

 

Whether the car is new/used have them put the car on a shop lift so you can investigate the under carriage of the vehicle. While you're inspecting the under carriage check for leaks, axles, etc...hope it goes goes well for you.

 

The dealer tried to fob off my inspection by not playing the DVD. Lucky I asked to demonstrate it. The cover was missing and the unit was defective. I noticed spots of body paint on my headlamp. I would strongly recommend max time doing inspection. Acura has dunces doing final inspection and dealers do a shoddy job. You are the only final inspector after final assembly.
