Sometimes when I get in and start the MDX the steering wheel doesn’t go into its saved position. I think it’s mainly when I open the rear door first (which unlocks the vehicle). Is this normal?

i've found that if you open rear door first and then open front door before the autolock beep, it does not go to your D1 or D2 settings. Look to see if D1 is lit on the door.
If it is lit, then non-telescoping wheel is the first sign of a weakening battery

I don’t recall D1/2 being lit up. So it must have just been because I opened the rear door first and the front door soon after. Thank you for confirming.

Funny. That is only one of the issues Im having with my 2018 Tech right now. Fob 2 is working weird, display is failing, after DW drove it this morning it refuses to accept fob1 is in the car. Battery? Maybe, but I suspect its much more complicated than that.

So ya, one of my passenger opened the rear doors first before I opened my driver side door and my steering wheel tilt does not adjust to my setting. First time I experience it.
