When I am streaming Pandora and flick the wheel to skip a song, there is a delay of 2-3 seconds before the next song starts. Are any of you experiencing that as well?
On my wife’s Volvo the skip is is instant.

 

Yeah I have extreme long delays too when skipping songs. Half of the time Pandora doesn't even connect. What a worthless infotainment system Acura has. Been wanting to install Grom Vline2 on the MDX. Maybe one of these days when. I'm not busy.

 

The infotainment system has indeed passed its prime a long time ago. The GPS graphics are akin to the 90’s at best. The resolution of the screens are also terrible but with that being said, I really dont mind it. I absolutely never consider using their GPS. My only minor issue is the pandora delay and that is nit picking.

The other terrible somehow related thing that the MDX has is the rear view camera at night. Almost useless.

 

Completely agree about the backup camera. It's horrendously bad. When we first bought the MDX, we thought the camera had protective film on it, it's so blurry. Backing into my garage at night is scary as I can see a damn thing. This for a almost $60K car is unacceptable. Honda Civic have better camera. Make me want to rip out the infotainment and camera and install some nicer aftermarket unit. But the wife won't be happy if I tear up her car.
