MDX A-Spec Exhaust on MDX Sport Hybrid

I would like to change things up a bit cosmetically on the rear of our MDX Sport Hybrid and I started to look into installing the A-Spec exhaust and lower rear bumper valance.

In doing some research, I noticed that the 3.5L MDX's have a different mid pipe than the MDX Hybrid does. I also see different part numbers for the rear mufflers between the two models. Obviously, the A-Spec mufflers also have different part numbers.

At the end of the day, all that really matters are the flange locations and their positions on the end of the mid pipe as well as on the muffler pipes in order for everything to bolt up correctly.

Has anyone with an MDX Sport Hybrid done this swap and if so, is it a simple bolt-off / bolt-on affair or is there some modifying required?

Thanks!

Not sure if you are on other MDX fourms (like MDXers.org); but, datechboss101 has looked into upgrading his fwd 17 MDX with Aspec parts and he has done some exhaust mods also.
