Lights stalk question

The labeling is confusing. You are sending a one time command telling the headlights to turn off if they are on, but not telling them to stay off forever like an old on-off switch.

Thats clever. I see countless cars these days that are with the lights turned off at night. Most probably because their instrument panel is lit so they think their outside lights must be on as well.

I agree, the labeling is confusing; particularly for previous Acura owners in which OFF actually meant OFF...

Finally someone brought this up, lol.
So last time I was waiting for my girl on my driveway, and I was trying to turn off the headlight when the car is in idle, no, it would not, only when you are off or at accessory mode.

On my 08 RDX and 11 MDX, the DLR don't turn on when I start the vehicle with the parking brake on. DRL turn on automatically once I release the parking brake. I engage the parking brake, turn the vehicle off/on, and I can idle without DRL (do this a night mostly). Haven't tried it this same trick works with +14 MDX with an electronic parking brake.
