Hinged cargo mat vs WeatherTech Cargo liner

I'm trying to decide whether to get the Acura hinged cargo mat or the WeatherTech cargo liner. I rarely will use the 3rd seat: it's only been used one day in the first 6+ months I've owned it. But I have been using the rear under floor storage area regularly.

Cost is not really an issue: they are within a few dollars of the same price. Any thoughts from those of you who own either of these accessories?

Thanks!

I've used my 3rd row about 2-3 times a year. It is usually in a pinch away from home and I'm glad I have the hinged cargo mat to fold up to move out of the way. Not sure where you can put the Weathertech since it is so big and heavy duty when you need the 3rd row away from home? My OEM cargo mat mostly sees duty for grocery shopping, Costco, Home Depot, and high school sporting sports gear (just shake and/or wet rag wipe off to clean). Might have to sacrifice the 3rd row if you need more protection than that.

I did purchase a 6X8 plastic poly tarp I leave folded in the rear storage. I've used it several times at Home Depot when I needed to fold the 2nd row for bricks and garden soil.

The hinged fits and works perfectly. However, it is not rubber like the all-weather mats, but a thin, very lightweight thermoplastic worth a couple of dollars at most. I got mine from Park Acura on eBay for $92 plus $12.50 S&H. A bargain from the $140 MSRP.

I have the hinged mat and it works well to protect the carpet. It doesn't fold up quite as well as I would like and definitely not worth what they charge. It should probably sell for about $40.

i have the Weathertech floor liners.

i bought the bundle that includes the liner for the 3rd row.

yes they're a little pricey, but they fit nicely and should hold up come winter.
